Members of the judiciary and lawyers from international jurisdictions including Trinidad and Tobago, the Bahamas, Ghana, Singapore, Malaysia, Kenya, India and the UK attended the Commonwealth Mediation Conference at the Law Society on 19th and 20th May.
The conference provided a platform to discuss the growing importance and use of mediation to resolve disputes and included keynote presentations from Sir Geoffrey Vos, Master of the Rolls; Mr Justice Knowles from the International Forum of Commercial Courts; and George Lim, chair of Singapore International Mediation Centre. The Lady Chief Justice of Northern Ireland opened the conference.
