International Conference in Granada

Brigid Napier led a group of solicitor delegates from across Northern Ireland to the Law Society’s long-awaited International Conference in Granada, Spain. Joining Brigid, Joe Napier, Maria Glover and Paul Upson participated in the ambitious business programme entitled ‘Shaping our Future Together’ with lectures and panel discussions on effective regulation and leadership, inclusion and diversity within the profession, confronting the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, embracing digitization and innovation whilst tackling emerging threats from cyber-crime.  In one of the highlights of the conference, the delegates were addressed by the Lady Chief Justice, the Right Honourable Dame Siobhan Keegan on the future use of technology in the court system while Maria Glover shared her perspective on how digitization has impacted our practice.
