Anti-Bullying Education Law Update

The Addressing Bullying in Schools Act (Northern Ireland) 2016 came into force on 1 September 2021.

The Act sets out a legal definition of bullying; deals with the duty of the Board of Governors to takes measures to prevent bullying; and the duty to keep a record of incidents of bullying (or alleged bullying).
